If you want to commit long passages of text to memory, web application “Memorize Now” can help you a lot.
Jason Fitzpatrick of Life Hacker has something to say about it
Memorize Now allows you enter text and then use a variety of devices to help you commit it to memory. You can read the text as is, reduce it to reminder letters—filling in the additional letters to complete the words as necessary to help you remember the passage—and display the passages you’ve entered in a flashcard style system. Memorizing long passages is never easy but Memorize Now provides a handy tool to make the process a little less arduous.
